There's no need to go out and buy those super sugary, highly salty sport drinks. You can make your own at home for dirt cheap and it honestly tastes better, and is better for you.
This one is super simple. I can't take credit for this recipe, it was passed on to me by my wise supervisors while in med school.
This recipe is for 1 litre of water. You can adjust the scale to make as much or as little as possible. I suggest making a big batch to keep in the fridge on standby.
