I attended Dr. Landon's IV course to gain more IV experience and learn to use catheters.
Going into the course, my confidence with IVs was pretty low. The online portion of the course provided a nice refresher on the basics and some tips to prepare us for the practical component. I can't say enough about the practical portion of the course. I had the opportunity to administer catheters on almost a dozen patients throughout the day. Despite having minimal experience by that point, the environment was very relaxed, and I felt comfortable and supported. Dr. Landon has an easy nature and was a great person to learn from.
